Effective date: July 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund.
2. Subscriptions
If you purchase a recurring subscription:
- You can cancel future renewals at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next billing cycle — it does not automatically refund the current one.
- If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment and have not made significant use of the paid content, you are entitled to a full refund of that first payment under the cooling-off rules above.
- Refunds are not normally given for partial billing periods after the 14-day window, or for renewal payments where the subscription was not cancelled in time — please cancel before your renewal date if you no longer wish to continue.
3. One-Off Purchases
For one-off resource purchases (e.g. individual worksheets or papers), the same 14-day cooling-off rules in Section 1 apply. If you have downloaded or accessed the resource, we may not be able to offer a refund, in line with UK digital content rules — but we will always consider requests on a case-by-case basis (see Section 5).
4. Faulty or Not-as-Described Content
If a resource is faulty, inaccessible, or materially not as described (for example, a broken download link or a paper that fails to load), you are entitled to a refund or replacement regardless of the 14-day window. Please report this to us as soon as you notice it.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email phil@developingmaths.co.uk with:
- The email address used for your purchase
- The product or subscription name and approximate purchase date
- The reason for your request
We aim to respond within 2 working days and, where a refund is due, process it within 5 working days back to your original payment method via Stripe, our payment processor.
6. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full card details. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method and may take a few additional days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card provider.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
